Introduction to the Partner Overseas University City University of Macau (Universidade da Cidade de Macau / City University of Macau), referred to as "CityU Macau", is a comprehensive university in Macao, China. It is one of the four comprehensive universities in Macao offering full-level academic programs (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees) and one of the main bases in Macao providing comprehensive international mainstream English language test services. It is a member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Translation Education Alliance, the International Council of Design Art Colleges, and the Association of Portuguese-Speaking Universities.
IV. Program Background and Overview The GSI International Summer Program is an interactive learning and exchange platform provided by City University of Macau. It aims to offer learners multi-level summer learning opportunities beyond regular classrooms, and enrich participants' holiday learning models and channels through the bridge of Macao's cultural background and global exchanges. The international summer program integrates internal and external resources, relying on the university's brand and integrating the characteristics of ten colleges. It adheres to the dissemination mission of combining education, cultural exchange, and social services, based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and facing the world. It openly recruits college students from domestic and foreign universities, industry practitioners, and interested individuals worldwide who wish to explore academic interests, enhance future academic pursuits, and clarify professional needs. Combined with its professional characteristics, our school has collaborated with CityU Macau to select the "Artificial Intelligence Applications" course for students. Course objectives: Understand the basic principles, development trends, and application scenarios of artificial intelligence; Mine hidden information from data; Explore the application of artificial intelligence in the field of information security; Cultivate corresponding skills and promote interdisciplinary cooperation; Foster big data thinking based on artificial intelligence.
V. Program Schedule July 13 - July 19, totaling 7 days
Teaching Language: Chinese - Teaching Methods: Diverse approaches including mini-lectures, workstation-based learning, and group discussions
VI. Program Fees HK$7,000 Included in the fee: Academic and professional courses, visits and experiential learning, opening and closing ceremonies, completion certificate issued by City University of Macau, welcome dinner, unified airport transfer, partial transportation (cultural visits, dormitory to campus), and accommodation at City University of Macau dormitories. Not included in the fee: Round-trip transportation between mainland China and Macau, personal travel insurance, and personal expenses.

VIII. University Funding Policy - Undergraduate students from Asian regions: RMB 5,000 per student; Note: Each student can receive funding for a maximum of one winter/summer vacation program within a calendar year.
