Title: Digital Asset Protection: From DeFi to NFT in Blockchain Systems

Time: 15:00, October 17

Location: East Third Conference Room, Zhenghe Hotel, Youyi Campus

Host: Professor Liu Jiajia

Abstract:

The digital asset is a kind of non-monetary asset in the form of data owned and controlled by individuals, enterprises, governments, or various organizations. Digital assets include currently very popular cryptocurrencies and NFT tokens. Their protection relies on security and privacy mechanisms designed using blockchain technology. This talk will first discuss various attacks on DeFi transactions, which could dramatically affect a customer’s cryptocurrency gains, e.g., in Uniswap. We will illustrate the privacy issues related to data exchange and our method of utilizing NFT to achieve both data traceability and exchange fairness.
