The Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security is one of the main student organizations of the school, under the leadership of the General Party Branch and the guidance of the Youth League Committee of the school. It serves as a bridge and link between the school and the majority of graduate students. Firmly adhering to the Party's leadership and following the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Graduate Student Union vigorously strengthens political guidance for students, guiding them to consolidate their ideals and beliefs, bravely shoulder the responsibilities of the times, and integrate their personal aspirations into the cause of national rejuvenation. Adhering to the principle of "coming from students and serving students", the union takes "uniting communication, extensive exchange, practical education, and pioneering innovation" as its mission. It closely unites around the school's Party Committee and Youth League Committee, always cares about students' demands, serves them wholeheartedly, continuously strengthens organizational construction, and carries out a variety of academic, cultural, and sports activities to foster a strong academic atmosphere and enrich graduate students' campus life.
I. Department Introduction
The organizational structure of the Graduate Student Union consists of a Presidium and six functional departments: the Organization Department, Publicity Department, Culture and Sports Department, Academic Department, Practice Department, and New Media Department. Upholding the purpose of serving students wholeheartedly, the union always pays attention to the needs of graduate students, gains an in-depth understanding of their common demands and practical difficulties in academic development, physical and mental health, social integration, rights protection, etc., promptly feeds back to higher authorities, and strives to solve the issues concerned by students.
Presidium
As the core of the Graduate Student Union's operation, the Presidium undertakes important responsibilities. It is responsible for the ideological, organizational, work style, and system construction within the union, fully presides over the daily work, and coordinates all affairs of the union; formulates and earnestly implements the work plan of the union to ensure the smooth development of various tasks; regularly holds plenary meetings of the union to report the work progress of each stage, analyze the situation, and summarize experiences; reports the work of the union to higher organizations and conducts work exchanges with the University Graduate Student Union to ensure a good cooperative relationship with the university; in addition, the Presidium extensively listens to opinions and suggestions, attaches importance to feedback from all parties, and supervises the work implementation of each functional department to ensure the smooth operation and development of the union.
Organization Department
As the hub of all departments of the Graduate Student Union, the Organization Department serves as a bridge for communication and exchange among various departments, with efficiency and cooperation as its core concepts. It is mainly responsible for material preparation, venue application, financial reimbursement of the union, as well as the issuance of various documents and notices. The department emphasizes teamwork and communication, cooperates closely with other departments to achieve common goals, ensures the smooth operation of the union, and provides better services and support for graduate students.
Publicity Department
The Publicity Department is mainly responsible for assisting the publicity activities of the school and various departments of the Graduate Student Union. Its work content includes recording the school's work, the dynamics and daily activities of the union through cameras and other equipment for publicity and promotion. In addition, the department undertakes offline publicity work for relevant activities and assists other departments in carrying out their work. Through creative and professional publicity strategies, it conveys important information and activities of the union to the majority of graduate students.
Culture and Sports Department
Shining with its unique cultural atmosphere, the Culture and Sports Department plays an important role in the Graduate Student Union. By carrying out a variety of cultural and entertainment activities, it provides a platform for students to show their personal talents and charm. Cooperating with other schools, the department organizes diverse, rich, and attractive sports activities, adding color to students' extracurricular life, relieving academic pressure, improving physical quality, and promoting the development of campus culture. Representative activities include basketball games, badminton games, and the "Sky Farm" activity.
Academic Department
With the main goal of improving students' academic ability, helping them integrate into scientific research life, and acquiring professional knowledge, the Academic Department achieves this through organizing various research-related activities. It assists the school and university in organizing various academic lectures and exchange meetings, provides information on academic lectures for students of the School of Cyberspace Security, and is also responsible for organizing a series of research-related practical activities to help students overcome obstacles on their academic path and achieve personal growth. The department is committed to providing high-quality academic resources and opportunities, helping students broaden their academic horizons and improve their professional skills, and creating a positive learning environment for them.
Practice Department
As an important department of the Graduate Student Union, the Practice Department plays a crucial role in communicating and cooperating with various departments inside and outside the school, and also represents the image and window of the union. Externally, through close contact with other schools and brother universities, the department promotes communication and exchange between our school and other institutions of higher learning. In addition, the department is responsible for internal work, such as collecting employment information and publishing employment series tweets, organizing career planning group counseling, providing employment information, employment experience, and practical opportunities for students of the school, and offering strong support for students to smoothly enter the workplace.
New Media Department
The New Media Department is an important department of the school's Graduate Student Union responsible for the article creation and promotion of the school's WeChat official account. Its work scope includes editing and publishing news releases of various activities at all levels of the school, conducting online publicity and reports, and regularly creating original content. In addition, the department assists other departments of the union in carrying out their work, provides publicity support for activities, and offers creative and design schemes to ensure the effectiveness of information transmission and promotion. Through high-quality article creation and promotion, the New Media Department provides students with a channel to understand the school's dynamics and participate in activities, and shows the positive and progressive good image of the school.

III. Organizational Construction
The Graduate Student Union regularly organizes the study of the Party's theoretical knowledge and various documents of the Youth League Committee, continuously enhancing the political literacy and theoretical level of its members, enabling them to better understand and grasp the Party's principles and policies. Remembering the service purpose at all times, the members of the union accurately grasp the Party's voice and propositions in their work, integrate their personal ideals into the great cause of the Party and the people, and convey them to students in an effective way. At the same time, the union is committed to deepening organizational reform. At present, the union has completed the establishment of the League Branch of the Graduate Student Union. Taking the establishment of the League Branch as a new starting point, it strives to play an exemplary leading role, unite and guide the majority of students to work hard, scale new heights, and write a youthful chapter worthy of the times. In addition, the union actively carries out training for its members, further clarifies the functional planning of each department, and improves the performance efficiency of the members. Through training, the members of the union can continuously improve their professional ability and work skills, better perform their duties, and provide higher-quality services and support for students.

To create a platform for graduating students to preserve their memories of NPU and share their unforgettable years, and also to let non-graduating students feel the beauty and cherish their precious time at NPU, the Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security held a photo collection activity themed "Cherish Memories of NPU, Freeze Beautiful Moments". Graduating students were invited to express their delicate and beautiful memories of NPU through photos with love and nostalgia for the campus.
(2) "Destiny Meets at NPU, Reencounter Chang'an" Campus Photography Check-in Activity
In the beautiful season of the transition between summer and autumn, when the locust flowers have faded and the golden autumn brings coolness, the Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security co-hosted the "Destiny Meets at NPU, Reencounter Chang'an" campus photography check-in activity with the Graduate Student Unions of the School of Computer Science, the School of Automation, and the NPU Student Photography Association. Taking campus photography as a medium, this activity provided students with an opportunity to show themselves and feel the campus culture, helping new students quickly familiarize themselves with the campus environment and leading them to experience the strong humanistic atmosphere of the NPU campus.
(3) "Charming NPU, Heartbeats of Summer" — Joint Social Activity of Graduate Students from Five Schools
To enrich the spare time of students of our university, especially graduate students, relieve research pressure, promote mental health, and create a romantic encounter unique to spring, the Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security co-hosted the "Charming NPU, Heartbeats of Summer" — Joint Social Activity of Graduate Students from Five Schools with the Graduate Student Unions of the School of Software, the School of Ecology and Environment, the Institute of Flexible Electronics, and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

(1) "Pursue Youth Dreams, Companion on the Graduate Journey" Postgraduate Entrance Exam Experience Sharing Activity
As the preliminary examination of the postgraduate entrance exam approached, to further promote the construction of the study style of our school, help students enhance their confidence in the exam and relieve the pressure of preparation, the Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security specially held a postgraduate entrance exam experience sharing activity. Outstanding first-year master's students of our school were invited to share and exchange postgraduate entrance exam experience with junior and senior undergraduate students of our school. In the activity, the outstanding students mainly shared from the aspects of preliminary examination preparation, re-examination preparation, pressure adjustment, and learning method introduction, answered the doubts of students during the postgraduate entrance exam, and helped the postgraduate entrance exam candidates of our school "succeed in one attempt".
(2) Employment Experience Sharing Activity
To help students better understand the current employment situation, fully prepare for career planning and job hunting, and at the same time assist the school in improving the quality of talent training, the Graduate Student Union specially invited a group of outstanding fresh graduates to share job hunting experience with their younger juniors and sisters. The employment experience sharing activity was carried out in four phases in the form of tweets, with each phase focusing on a different employment direction, helping current graduate students comprehensively understand the employment situation.
(3) Outstanding Graduates Sharing Activity
To further promote the construction of the study style of our school, help current graduate students improve self-awareness, understand the current employment situation, and give full play to the positive energy brought by outstanding role models, the Graduate Student Union of the School of Cyberspace Security held an outstanding graduate student experience sharing meeting. This activity invited some outstanding senior students who are about to graduate to share their successful experiences and mental journeys in study, life, scientific research, and employment during their postgraduate studies, attracting extensive participation of undergraduate and graduate students of the school.
